Summer Reading and Next Stop: IPEM Paris

At Qualitas Funds, we would like to wish you all a wonderful summer. These weeks encourage us to slow down and offer a unique opportunity to rest, recharge and make time for reading, something that is not always easy to do during the year.

With this in mind, Eric Halverson, Founding Partner at Qualitas Funds, has contributed two very different recommendations to FundsPeople’s summer reading selection. For his economics pick, he chose ‘España tiene solución’ by Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, while for those looking to switch off, he recommends an essential classic of world literature: ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas.

After the summer break, the Qualitas Funds team will resume its international agenda at the IPEM Paris conference, one of Europe’s leading industry events, which will take place from 8 to 10 September in the French capital. Eric Halverson will be joined by Emma Hernanz, Bernardo Marques dos Santos, João Pita Rua and Helena Palacios.

During the event, Eric will participate in the panel discussion “Buyouts – What Top GPs See Inside Their Deal Pipelines,” which will explore how leading private equity firms are approaching transactions and managing their investment and exit processes. The panel will examine topics including the impact of the geopolitical environment on portfolio companies and the new dynamics shaping the evolution of the market.

IPEM Paris will also provide another valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, explore opportunities and strengthen relationships with investors and industry professionals.

Until then, we wish you a wonderful summer, and, of course, plenty of excellent reading.
