Qualitas Funds in Funds Society: “We have become a mid-market reference in Europe; now, with P10, we aspire to global leadership”

Our founding partner, Sergio García, was interviewed by Funds Society, a leading media outlet in the investment space and a key meeting point for the Asset and Wealth Management industry.

In the conversation, García shares his views on the sector’s outlook and highlights important milestones for Qualitas Funds. Among them are the recent integration into the US-based P10 platform and the launch of the new NAV financing fund, Qualitas Continuation Finance I, which expands our product offering by entering the private debt segment and responds to a growing need in the private equity market.

García also emphasizes that the successful integration with P10 marks a major milestone for Qualitas Funds: “We have become a mid-market reference in Europe; now, with P10, we aspire to global leadership”. He describes the US firm as “a unique project in the market”.

He explains how Qualitas Funds’ distinctive strategy, focused on agile private equity programs with attractive returns and optimal diversification, demonstrates strong resilience to economic cycles. “It is important for any alternatives portfolio to be diversified so that economic cycles have less impact on overall performance. With this in mind, we invest in growing companies and in strategies that outperform the broader economy, such as technology or healthcare”.

Regarding the democratization of investing in alternative markets, Sergio stresses the importance of non-professional investors seeking optimal geographic and sector diversification. “It is very important for retail investors participating in private equity to do so in a diversified manner”.
