Qualitas Funds at Private Equity Insights Iberia 2025, one of the leading private equity forums in the Iberian Peninsula

Qualitas Funds had a notable presence at Private Equity Insights Iberia 2025, one of the key private equity events in Southern Europe. The firm was represented by two of its partners: founding partner Eric Halverson and Bernardo Marques dos Santos.

Eric Halverson took part in the roundtable Impact of AI and Data Analytics on Private Equity, where he highlighted how technology lies at the heart of Qualitas Funds’ decision-making process. Artificial intelligence is one of these tools, but Qualitas Funds has its own proprietary tool powered by private data from thousands of funds and transactions that are very difficult to access, with the goal of supporting investment decision-making to build profitable and diversified portfolios.

Meanwhile, Bernardo Marques dos Santos joined the panel discussion Best Exit Strategies: Balancing Asset Sales and LP Demands, where he explained how Qualitas Funds seeks to maximize returns for its investors in an increasingly demanding and selective exit environment.

The event, organised by Private Equity Insights, explored key topics such as fundraising, value creation, investment opportunities, and exit strategies within a landscape shaped by digitalisation and sustainability. Held on October 3rd at the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, Private Equity Insights Iberia 2025 was a resounding success, bringing together institutional investors, fund managers, and Limited Partners (LPs).

Qualitas Funds would like to thank Private Equity Insights for once again placing their trust in us, and extends its appreciation to the panellists who joined Eric and Bernardo for sharing such insightful perspectives on the challenges and opportunities private equity faces today.
