Meanwhile, Eric explained that Qualitas Funds focuses on strategic sectors aligned with macrotrends like digitalization or population aging, which continue to grow regardless of economic cycles. “We are always looking for sectors with tailwinds, those that benefit from macrotrends,” he said, citing Germany as an example that, despite its stagnant economic growth this year, the underlying funds of Qualitas Funds in the country have performed positively.
The recent integration of Qualitas Funds into the global platform of P10, Inc. was another highlight. Eric emphasized that this partnership enables the firm to expand its international reach, particularly in North America. Additionally, the combination of tools like Qualitas Insight and GP Scout by RCP Advisors provides a leading database for transactions and fund analysis in the lower mid-market, further strengthening the firm’s decision-making capabilities.
The interview concluded with a reflection on the future of Qualitas Funds. Both founders agreed that, while the firm will now be part of a larger group, we remain committed to our focus on SMEs, a strategy fundamental to the firm’s continued success.
